Currently, the Bald Head Island Club offers three categories of membership: Full, Lifestyle and House. All memberships are subject to application and approval.

Full members shall have the right to use all of the recreational and social facilities of the Club and shall not be charged court fees for tennis or additional fees for the use of the fitness center, pool and croquet. Full members shall not be charged greens fees but shall be required to pay golf cart fees.

Lifestyle members shall have the right to use all of the recreational and social facilities of the Club and shall not be charged court fees for tennis or additional fees for the use of the fitness center, pool and croquet. Lifestyle members shall pay green and cart fees established for Lifestyle members.

House members shall have the right to use the dining facilities of the Club and the pool only.

Those who are purchasing property with an existing membership attached may acquire the membership with the sale of the property. Existing memberships are transferable and refundable.

Those who are purchasing never-before sold property from the developer may acquire a membership directly from the Club. These memberships are transferable and refundable.

Those who are purchasing property without an existing membership attached may acquire a membership directly from the Club. These memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Those who are interested in becoming Club members and do not own property on the island may acquire a membership directly from the Club. These memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Bald Head Island Club memberships are truly “family” memberships. Membership privileges are not only available to the member and their immediate family but are also offered to a member’s extended family members including adult children, parents, grandchildren and siblings.

Members who have a membership attached to unimproved property are eligible to receive discounted dues. The dues will be reduced down to 60% of the dues for their category of membership.

Members who wish to take advantage of this opportunity must apply to receive the discount, as the discount causes the membership to become inactive.
